The ReMind Program

ReMind is an active, hands-on curriculum designed to create awareness for improved well-being. This program was developed to enhance the brain, body, spirit connection. This in turn improves concentration, focus, comprehension and social and emotional well-being and learning through Building Rocks of Mindfulness with Stepping Stones — this book serves as a guided meditation. The rocks of mindfulness and stepping stones concepts are inspired by universal qualities that make us human, and when we have the skills and tools to tap into them, we make better choices and gain more clarity and understanding of ourselves and others. Rooms with Chairs provides an opportunity and option to expand and recharge one's energy at any time. These mindful tools build upon each other, in addition to standing alone, and provide exercises and benefits physically, emotionally and spiritually with heart centered mindfulness at its core. This program is a response to witnessing the transformative qualities that this curriculum has had on students. Mindfulness is the ability to be present and this program facilitates a space to be present more often. ReMind helps create active calmness, helping set the tone to support individuals through the beginning of the day, transitions, and end of day activities. Certain lessons will appeal to all students differently, which is both encouraged and beneficial. In addition, activities include introductions to meditation, breathing techniques, posture awareness, mindful movements, positive thoughts, and reflective activities such as journaling and coloring. The ReMind Program is designed to address the whole person, improve self-confidence, and encourage optimal learning and performance.
